The Story Behind The Stand
My dad took me duck hunting for the first time when I was 12 years old. After I shot my first duck, I was hooked. I have been hunting ducks ever since, mostly on public land.
But there was always one problem: sitting in the Tules with my gun across my lap was incredibly inconvenient. I needed a place to safely rest my shotgun while reaching for gear, coffee, shells, or supplies.
Too many times, my gun ended up in the muddy water.
About 30 years ago, I began experimenting with ways to solve that problem. I knew the solution had to be lightweight, durable, portable, buoyant, and adjustable for different water depths.
After years of field testing and prototyping, I finally created the solution: The Tule Tube.
Today, I never enter the marsh without it.
